ABOUT US

Spectrum Interiors of Tennessee, Inc. began operation in 1995.

The construction of American General’s corporate headquarters with Turner Construction, allowed Spectrum to open a Nashville office. Since then, Spectrum has become one of the top interior specialty contractors in the Middle Tennessee region. As a top specialty contractor, Spectrum provides trade construction in drywall, insulation, light gauge and structural metal framing, and acoustical ceilings.

Noted projects have included the construction of the MRB III building on Vanderbilt University’s campus. This 350,000 sq. ft. facility houses 64 research labs, four teaching labs, offices and classrooms. The 9-story, $95.0 million structure was designed to have the new construction “wrap” the north and east sides of the existing Learned Lab building.

Spectrum Interiors of Tennessee was also selected as the interior specialty contractor for the landmark Monroe Carell, Jr. Children’s Hospital. This hospital’s completion in 2004 marked the conclusion of the largest construction project ever undertaken in the City of Nashville.

In 2006, Spectrum completed work on the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in downtown Nashville. This $120 million marvel has received high accolades for its acoustic power. The massive scaffold erected for work crews throughout the project, created great challenges for Spectrum’s workforce.
